this one is different. on the weekends they actually open for breakfast to the crowd cool huh. haha.

oh yeah after the trip, my mum and daryl's mum actually had dinner together... the 4 of us at daryl's house downstair's coffee shop. no comments right! ahyo. so weird.

so how is everyone?! i bet many have watched the 2 freaking videos uploaded by joyce... the one in ikea. haha. after sending cherlyn off, which we had to like wake at 7am in the morning, we were off to ikea for breakfast and some serious shopping(danica). joyce, danica and i luked the things all the way to orchard for more shopping aha. forever 21, max & more(serious discounts!) and cotton on was enough for us. daryl joined us and we had dinner.

joyce and danica left for home. daryl and i went to watch k-20. i felt asleep obviously.. but takeshi was cute hahaha...

i need $$$$$$$$$ i will find a way.

HEY PPL! MEL IS BACK WITH HER VALENTINE DAY STORY. ONCE UPON IN THAILAND!!! =)

we were super super xited! we checked in and just relaxed before we board the plane. jetstart baby! haha.

made this cheese cake for him before we left for thailand.

in the plane! jetstar! finally landed in thailand. we had private transport to pick just us up from the airport to the hotel. on the way there, daryl mentioned that the hotel we were staying in was something like the one in KL. i almost believed him when.. whoa. it was big. bustling with foreigners like us. haha.

our hotel room. nice right! ASIAN HOTEL!

toilet is huge la... 2 basins, 1 shower and a bathtub! you can practically dance in there haha.

the restuarants' dog! super cute. this was the first place we ate once we settled. honestly, the food is cheap, drinks is damn cheap like 2 bucks plus we your glass of alcohol. ppl can get drunk in here man.

HEH! our first night! we explored the place our hotels before turning in. =)

pubs there were chilled out. these were the onces just oppo our hotel. the ppl there looked really carefree and happy.

this is asian hotel. recommanded to stay in.

happy happy! we are going to the flea market that happens on the weekends only! itssssss huge i tell you!

we took the subway there. its something like malaysia. just in thai. haha

the singers at the flea market! but maybe 2 hours to 3 later, daryl couldnt stand the smell of the market. he said it had some really weird funny smell. smells like hamster he says. so we tuked-tuked!

tuk...tukk...tuk...tuk... daryl fell asleep in my arms. we the hell can sleep on a tuk tuk?! it only can be HIM! haha...

we arrived at MBK! a mega mega shopping paradise! it is... like 10 times vivo city. or maybe bigger? you can shop till you drop!

while taking photos, out of nowhere, an elephant appeared on the streets and just walked passed our cab haha.

SUNDAY: time we our valentines' day dinner at biyoke sky! daryl wanted to bring me here for the buffet for because of that but because this hotel was the tallest building in thailand! magnificent. actually when he first booked, he got this hotel, but on the second booking, it was fully booked and unavailable.

we ate at the 79th floor! seee! you can really feel your eyes going when in the lift.

the view from where we ate was fantastic. the food was ok. it was the entertainment that was funny. haha.

a personalised live band just for 2. it was wonderful. =) they also had magicans coming in to show us some cool tricks haha.

they had mini golf haha. we decided to play. gosh what a swinging session haha.

after that back to out comfort homies. we wanted to go and chill at the clubs and came to realise that all of them close at 1am. so we settled at the pub oppo our hotel. 1 drink to chill and to sleep well.

oh and wait a minute. did i mentioned we actually hooked up a taxi driver who got us weed? yeah...

monday! not much pictures. we were seriously rushing we time. i streaked my hair purple. apparently it was supposed to be purple but i guess with all my brown hair, it just got red.... anyway, this night we decided to visit the red light destrict. it was an awful experience. well. i never watched the thaigirls show before, so we experience sack we went. i got sick the moment i stepped in. the sight of the girls that not look like girls was horrible. and the things they did was rediculous. the worst part was we got conned. we were forced to fork out 2600 baht. they were demanding and seriously fierce. we shouted back saying we will not pay. in the end, we paid 600 baht we the pathetic sick 'performance'.

i had a hard time eating because the images of the unsightly thai girls was just too overwhelming. grossssss...

our spirits lightened when we met a bunch of happy go lucky thai ppl at pizza hut who apparently was having a party. daryl couldnt stand the food they were eating... we ordered a small and medium pizza and chicken wings for take out. we gave them the medium pizza. they made us feel at home really. im so glad this happened so that the last thing i would think of is this and not the freaking show...
